Day At The Park

The first nice day of Spring Cody and I took Duchess to the park to run around and play :) It was a blast! ♥

*First Christmas*

For Duchess' first Christmas she got a bunch of stuff! hehe :) Toys...treats...clothes...hehe It won't be THAT much EVERY year...I don't plan on it at least...lol :) She is our baby, so she will be spoiled! :) It sure was fun watching her "open" her stocking and gifts! :) We had a great time!

Freak Out!

Haha...sometimes when it's really late Duchess will just all of a sudden "freak out" for about 5 minutes or so lol It is too funny! Here is only a short clip of one of her "freak outs" :)

"Talking"

Duchess "asking" for help :) One of the CUTEST things about our baby is that she will actually try to "talk" to you. To ask for help, tell you she needs something, etc. We LOVE it! :o)

Bath Time

I had always hoped that the next cat or dog that I had would LOVE baths. I've seen YouTube videos of cats swimming and playing in a bath, dogs too. I thought it was great! But. The first time I gave Duchess a bath...she wanted nothing else but to be OUT of the water!!! I was pretty bummed. But it's okay :) I got some funny pictures out of it.

To this day she still reacts the same way when put in a tub of water!

Go Fetch!

I love how even when she was tiny she would bring back the toy...didn't matter how much bigger it was than her, she would always figure out a way to bring it back to us! :) So precious!

Once again...playful puppy! hehe :)

Door Stop

While I was cleaning one day I was picking up a toy of Duchess' and I hit the door stop by accident...being the playful puppy she is, she immediately started pawing at it and running around barking and growling! We tried to get it on tape but this is all we got :) Still super cute though! :)

First Road Trip

Back in July 2009 my family had a reunion in Moses Lake, Washington which is only about 2 hours away from Spokane :) We of course, brought Duchess. She did an AMAZING job in the car!!! We were SO proud of her! She slept pretty much the whole way! :) While we were there she had a lot of fun playing with the kids and getting a lot of attention from the family! :) They adore her! ♥

So a little history. Back when Duchess was a little puppy, I would put a baby gate up in the kitchen to keep her in there while I was away at work or wherever. This is what I came home to one night after work...LOL

July 2010

So it has been about a year since my last post on this blog! WOW! I can't believe that our baby Duchess is over a year old!!! ♥ We love her oh so much! :) Since I have failed at keeping up the blog over the last year, the next few posts will be "playing catch up" :) Some posts will be stories and pictures... some will just be stories and then some will just be pictures :) So bear with me please! :)
